What the hero said upon seeing the heroine

The moon, that proclaims the grandeur of the leader,
ㅤㅤthe great Prophet with golden lotus-like feet,
Seems to have drifted into the vast, dark southern sky
ㅤㅤto rest upon Mount Meru’s branches.
There, having gathered the glory lily, fresh tender sprouts, and water lilies
ㅤㅤand adorned itself in perfect grace,
It seems to have returned to dwell in brilliant Mecca—
ㅤㅤthe city like the wish-fulfilling Kaṟpaka tree.

Akam convention notes:

What the hero told the heroine

Firmly establishing yourself in Mecca, the city of the Prophet,
ㅤㅤwho is elevated by the scriptures,
You have fixed the arrow of your glance onto your bow-like brow,
ㅤㅤand plundered my entire mind, leaving me utterly infatuated.
And yet, you turn away indifferently,
ㅤㅤas if you know nothing—
